About the Author

Dotty Anderson is the grandmother of five school age boys. She holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She lives with her husband in Northern California. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She has traveled extensively. After a trip to Iceland she was inspired to write short Middle Grade stories about an Iceland elf. “Aldar Visits America” concerns the problem of school bullying and “Aldar and the Leprechauns” concerns racism and prejudice. Her latest book,”Aldar and the Golem of Prague,” is an adventure tale where the little elf learns about other cultures and people. The stories she writes are intended to both entertain and educate.img_11601
